Cook, Lake, and St. Louis counties, including the City of Duluth, and Grand Portage Reservation.
Provides financial grants to be used towards energy costs for residential heating bills. Additional funds are available for crisis situations and energy-related repairs. Information on energy conservation practices is also available.
How to Apply:
The Energy Assistance Program funding year runs October 1st - May 31st. Applications for Energy Assistance are not being accepted until the new funding year. Households that received Energy Assistance in the past year should receive a new application in September. If you are interested in applying for Weatherization now then please contact the Virginia or Duluth office for an application and more information.
